Christopher S. Nelson, born and raised in South Florida, joined the Firm as a litigation associate in January of 2007.  He practices general civil litigation with a focus on real property litigation.  His practice areas include contract interpretation and drafting, construction litigation, contract dispute litigation, divorce and family law matters, landlord-tenant litigation, condominium association litigation, personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, legal malpractice litigation, and general litigation.

In 2000 Chris graduated from Florida State University where he earned his Bachelors' of Science Degree in Risk Management and Insurance.

In 2004 Chris earned in Juris Doctor degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law. As a member of the school's Immigration Clinic, he represented battered spouses and children, indigent clients seeking asylum and non-citizens seeking immigration relief in Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as before the Department of Homeland Security.

He began his practice of law representing plaintiffs in litigating negligence cases, including medical malpractice, legal malpractice, negligent security, negligent hiring, automobile negligence, and premises liability.
